About Mandala Farm

Within a big old family farm with 400 hectares, and a few kilometers only from the Atlantic Ocean, lies the beautiful project of Mandala Farm.

Design from scratch by Mashyan, this beautiful pice of land has been under transformative process since the first stone was placed.

Following permaculture principles and always following intuitive learning the farm has become a little paradise for all the ones that visit.

Nowadays Mandala farm hosts special retreats , events, and festivals, specially the Icaros Medicine Festival. You will find lots of art, a magical tree house, a clay fire oven, murals, water ponds, animals, sacred altars, and more...

Volunteering at Mandala Farm

Be very welcome to our volunteer programs. We love to receive in the farm enthusiastic people, that care for the land and have an open minded view about nature.

We can host volunteers in different places depending on the availability: Tree house (double bed room), Cottage house (2 separate beds), tents or caravans.

Usually the tasks are very random, they can vary from: painting, gardening maintenance, decoration, wood work, animal care, vegetable garden care, outdoors cleaning, planting, etc.

Exchange:
What we expect: Every volunteer must work 20 hours per week. You can manage your timmings, but we usually dont work during weekends.
What you will get; free accommodation and basic groceries

Important aspects:
- Minimum stay is 1 week
- We cont cook for volunteers, they take care of their own meals and can use the volunteers kitchen
- Toilets are compost style and we have 1 hot shower
